Mosoil,as Dave says, launched 3.12.1956 by Uraga Dock Co. Ltd., Yard No. 698. Completed 2.1957 for Mosvold A/S Shipping Co., Kristiansand. 19,500 DWT, 563' 6" LOA, 70' 4½" Breadth, 31' 11¼" Summer Draught. Powered by a 7 cyl 2 S.C.S.A. Sulzer type oil engine built by Uraga Diesel, Kogyo. 9,100 hp @ 119 rpm driving a single shaft, 15.5 knot service speed. 8C & 16W tanks, single pump room housing 3 main cargo pumps and a separate stripping system. Max. discharge rate 3,100 t.w./hr. Butterworth portable tank cleaning system, 12" stern discharge. 1969 Sold to Greek owners and renamed Arian Victory. 1970 renamed Victory. Sold to Mambisa Empresa Nav., (State owned by the Government of Cuba) the same year and renamed 5 De Septembre, registered Havana. March 1974 arrived at Shanghai for demolition.
